Stolen Bread

Stolen is an iconic part of visiting Grandma's House. Traiditionally made around the Christmas holidays this past break Grandma taught me how to make this special yeast bread wth raisins and almonds and all sorts of goodies. It's actually one of my goals this week to make two loaves of my own!

Grandma also wrote a book, a biography of her own mother titled My Mother was an Air Raid Warden. It was amazing for me to dscover so many inspiring things about my family history, and the recipe for the Stolen bread is included in the book :)
